You just need to unplug your old ECU, plug it into the harness-end of AEM EMS, and then plug the harness into AEM EMS, and you are done! No extra wiring, fancy footwork, or hardware required! The software used in AEM EMS can be run on any laptop that uses Windows 95 onwards and features full data logging software and data manipulation/setting software. The wizard allows you to create a base map, irrespective of whether any modification is made or the current state of your car. You can also program any combination of power adders or any type of engine modifications or extras that you want. AEM EMS is just stupendous in engine tuning and management - a feat no other EMS has managed so far.
At the start up, you'll be required to create a base map for your car, which will enable your car to get started immediately. Now, you are ready to fine-tune your car.
