AEM Fuel Injection Controller (FIC) discounts the requirement for good old FMU units or controllers by allowing retardation of your engine timing. The FMU units operate by tricking your computer into thinking that you are not producing boost. This caused some problems in the cars that were OBD2 or did not have forced induction from the factory. But AEM FIC can tune your car better than FMU units and works alongside your factory ECU. With Windows-based tuning software in place, AEM FIC can make quick changes. The unique aspect about AEM FIC is the user-ability to change the injector pulse width, which is not possible in any other ignition controller or piggyback system available in the market.
