The Honda S2000 was a breakthrough for Honda, being their first full-production FR car with VTEC the S2000 dominated the race track even in its stock trim with impressive handling and agility. The S2000 features a DOHC F20C5 and then later the F22C1; these engines were designed to be kept in the high-rpm range with the help of the Close-Ratio 6-Speed Transmission. Although the car screams at High-RPM, the low to mid range of the powerband leaves something to be desired. Megan Racing has developed a header for the 2000-2003 Honda S2000 (AP1 only). With its massive 2" primaries and 2.5" Collector the header increases peak horsepower and torque numbers in the high end of the powerband where the engine was designed; but with the Tri-Y design the entire powerband including the low and mid-range gain quite a bit. On-Track testing has shown us a noticable increase in out-of-corner acceleration and a more spirited feel to the car. Like all Megan Racing exhaust products, these headers are constructed of T-304 Stainless Steel and are polished to a mirror-finish.
