Airchargers are designed to be less restrictive compared to the stock air management system. Low restriction air filters provide quicker throttle response and more power throughout the RPM range. Additionally, it is important to note, if the stock air cleaner box has emission control devices and/or hoses attached, these parts may not be re-installed on a new Aircharger assembly. Each Aircharger has a specially designed filter element consisting of woven cotton fabric sandwiched between two layers of wire mesh screen. The screen and fabric combination creates a grid-like effect which actually straightens and smoothes the incoming air as it passes through the filter. Air moving in a straight column moves faster than turbulent air, hence more power is gained.

Installation: Designed to Replace the Restrictive Factory Air Filter Housing. This is a BOLT-ON Kit. Installation Normally Takes 20-30 Minutes and Includes All the Necessary Hardware. Only Regular Hand Tools Required. Comes With Complete Instructions.

Tech Notes: To clean filter, first brush off any large embedded dirt. Then spray on the K&N cleaner and let it soak for 10 minutes. Next, Rinse off the element with LOW pressure water. (Always flush from the clean side to the dirty side.) Then allow filter to dry NATURALLY. After filter has dried re-oil with K&N air filter oil only. Apply evenly to entire filter making sure to oil down into each pleat. Then re-install making sure the element seats properly in the filter case. Not Smog Legal
