The 2004-2008 Acura TL is a car that exhibits class with its presence, so why put anything less on it? The Tsudo Acura TL Dual SP Catback Exhaust is an exhaust system that combines style and class with performance. The exhaust tips fit perfectly with the body lines of the car and gives it the perfect clean look. The tips are polished stainless steel to give a subtle, but noticable result. Don't be fooled by the clean look though, fire up the 3.2 liter V6 under the hood and the exhaust comes to life with a deep exhaust note. Let your foot down and hear the aggresive notes as the engine climbs the rpms. It is the perfect combination of function, form and style.

The Tsudo Acura TL Dual Cat-back exhaust system does much more than just look good. It will increase the horsepower, torque and throttle response. This is achieved by using CNC machine mandrel bent stainless steel tubing with a perforated core. What this means is that your Acura TL has a smooth, unrestricted free flowing exhaust throughout the entire system. Many big name companies will cut corners and not use this process to save time and money, by doing this they develop borrlenecks and choke points throughout the exhaust system that will restrict the flow and, even worse, your power. It is manufactured using the highest quality 100% T-304 Stainless Steel, this not only improves corrosion resistance and durability, but reduces a significant amount of weight compared to the stock OEM exhaust. No fabrication is needed either, the Tsudo Acura TL Dual SP Catback Exhaust uses the factory hangers and includes all bolts and gaskets.

  • Features 63.5mm / 2.50in diameter piping with 101mm / 4.0in diameter exhaust tips
  • Dual 63.5mm / 2.50in piping for unrestricted flow after the Y split connection
  • Perforated core straight-through muffler design for smooth, unrestricted performance
  • Produces a deep, aggressive exhaust note
  • Improves horsepower, torque, throttle response, and fuel mileage
  • Manufactured from T304 / SUS304 stainless steel for durability and high corrosion resistance
  • CNC machine mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum exhaust flow
  • Significant weight reduction compared to OEM exhaust system

The three stars is for the packaging that the exhaust came in. The box was torn and ripped at the corners, and I could tell it wasn't handled carefully. My resonator was dented (which doesn't affect performance, but I was still slightly angry). As for the exhaust, it sounds great on my 06 TL. Not obnoxiously loud, so if you're looking for a fart can, this isn't for you. This exhaust sounds a little farty at about 2-3 thousand RPM. Sounds awesome anywhere else in the RPM range. Would recommend.

This is what the TL should sound like

The steel and welds on the Tsudo Catback are excellent. I was very impressed. If you are looking for a better sounding TL and a more free flowing exhaust, Tsudo fits the bill. It gives a nice low note that gets tapers off at higher RPMs. There is some cabin drone under acceleration at freeway speeds but nothing that takes away from the system. It is not too loud but just right for the TL and sounds heavenly if you park in a garage.

(Part 3 of 3).. Ive had the exhaust on for three days now and I love just hearing her crank up. There is slight drone from 2 - 3k RPMs, however, it is tollerabel and not unwelcome. People can have regular conversation without having to yell at the top of your lungs. Like I said, there are definately other brands that can outperform Tsudo, Im sure, however, if spending more than a grand of your hard-earned moneys is just too much, then just order the dang thing like I did. I am sooo glad I did. I love the sound, and I can pretty much gurantee you will too. Just so everyone knows, my 2004 TL is equipped with a Typhoone short-ram, and an ATLP V2r J-Pipe. Its a great combo!.. Also, the performance gain in torque and HP is definately noticed. I give my set-up a 4.9 out of five!

(Part 2 of 3).. The box came in about 7 days later with a slight tear in the side- which was no big deal because it was still in good shape. All the material was wrapped in bubble-wrapped and looked very neat and handled properly. After waiting one long day, I finally got it installed at my auto shop. After about an hour labor, they cranked her up and let me tell you- the sound I hear was AMAZING!!.. The sound you hear online is nothing like in real life. It had a deep rumble on start-up and then mellowed out into a sweet burble.. Stomp on righ pedal and that burble turned into a banshee scream which expelled a sound similar to other high performance machined that cost 3 times as much. definay not raspy thank goodness!

tsudo exhaust review

(Part 1 of 3).. So, I am writing this review for all the people out there on the fence about whether or not to order this exhaust. I know I was for the past 8 months. I was not even thinking about getting an aftermarket exhaust if it were not for my mechanic telling me about this brand. After looking at it online and seeing the price-point, I was pretty much sold. Then, of course I obsessed about it and looked at all the videos on youtube. For those of you who find this similar to themselves, let me be clear- This exhaust is pretty awesome!.. There are a lot of haters out there who are going to hate on you for buying a "discount" exhaust saying that the welds are bad and that is not "quality".. Due to all these comments I was a little afraid of putting down the money on a raspy, fart-sounding product. In fact, I was about to finally go with a brand that was over $1K and then last minute decided this was just not necessary. Last week, i finally threw down the $450.00 and ordered it
