This is a brand new complete Tsudo 2.5" / 65mm N1 Cat-Back Exhaust System for the 2008-2009 Mitsubishi Lancer DE/ES/GTS FED vehicle.
This catback features high-flow mandrel bent tubing with a straight-through muffler which generates a smooth, deep sound and maximizes performance.

Resonates weird throughout RPMs But you get what you paid for. The silencer it came with doesn't fit on right so sounds weird with it on. With it off its obnoxiously louuud. lol. The screws it comes with are a different thread pitch than the OEM Exhaust manifold so you will have to Re-tap it into a bigger threading or Impact te hell out foot to make it bigger, just know if you try to remove it you'll probably snap that bolt.
they called it header back, but its really a midpipe back. its a good exhaust. very easy to install. I imagine it would of been easier if I had a second person though. the only thing I really have to complain about it the "engine service light fix" pipe that comes with the kit did not give clear instructions on where to put it. on the front O2 or the back one. so I put it on the back one. and I got a light. so now I have to put it back on the lift and switch them out. ugh. wish me luck
I was a little worried that it would be too loud or raspy but I like the exhaust note and as long as you aren't middle aged, it's not too loud.
It wasn't hard for me to fall in love with this Tsudo after I installed it.
First off, if you have a header from RRM, it will NOT fit with the Tsudo. Period. I tried like crazy to make mine work, but the RRM header is just too long. You'll have to go back to the OEM header. With an OEM header, the whole system can be installed in less than an hour and I had zero fitment issues. Everything lined-up perfectly.
Performance gains are definitely noticeable. The other gain is the sound. It's a nice loud low note. I would recommend playing with the included silencer though. Without the silencer, between 2500-4000 RPM's the system is loud. It's a "hurt your ears, violently vibrate the change you have sitting in your ashtray, and make your dog hate to ride in the car" loud. It's got me considering installing the silencer to see how much of a noise difference it'll make, or possibly even laying down Dynamat.
Bottom line, I'd highly recommend this system to any other Lancer owner.
